Witness: Maureen Girvan

Commission Counsel Marc David continues examination of Maureen Girvan (former manager of the Consular Services Section of the Canadian Consulate General in New York). Ms. Girvan recounts her work with Mr. Arar and his family in September-October 2002, including steps taken to locate Mr. Arar after he was reported missing, the ascertaining of charges against him, and her meeting with Mr. Arar at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in New York on October 3, 2002.
