Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witnesses: Sheila Fraser, Ronald Campbell, Louise Bertrand

The Commission continues to hear testimony on federal government advertising practices from a panel of witnesses from the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, including Sheila Fraser (Auditor General of Canada), Ronald Campbell (Accountant, Office of the Auditor General), and Louise Bertrand (Senior Director, Office of the Auditor General). There are cross-examinations by Michel Massicotte (Counsel for BCP Limited) and Pierre Fournier (Counsel for Alfonso Gagliano) with questions focusing on the findings of the Auditor General related to the awarding of a 1994 Tourism Canada advertising contract to Vickers & Benson and BCP Limited.
