Daniel Livermore (Director General of the Security and Intelligence Bureau, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT)) is examined by Commission Counsel Paul J. J. Cavalluzzo. Mr. Livermore explains the organization and activities of the Security and Intelligence Bureau, the sharing of information with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and his bureau’s involvement in Mr. Arar’s case.
