Witness: Chris Scowen

Chris Scowen (a former member of the security service of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)) testifies. Under direct examination by Commission Counsel Brian Gover, Mr. Scowen speaks about his work with the CSIS transition team, his work in counter-terrorism with CSIS, the transition from the RCMP to CSIS, the storage and sharing of information gathered by RCMP’s security service, relations between the RCMP and CSIS, and the evolution of policies on information-sharing between CSIS and the RCMP. Commissioner John C. Major also asks the witness some brief questions.
