Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Loretta Colton, Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada, addresses the Commission, clarifying certain points about Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) knowledge of the presence of a bomb of Air India flight 182. Commission Counsel Anil Kapoor presents a series of documents from various government, police, and intelligence sources related to information on Sikh extremism and the bombing of Air India flight 182. He reviews the documents in open session before the Commission. Soma Ray-Ellis, Counsel for Air India, presents a series of documents to the Commission relating to Air India’s security efforts at the time of the bombing. Charleen Brenzall, Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada, responds to questions from Commissioner John C. Major about certain documents presented as evidence.
