Inquiries on CPAC - The Gomery Inquiry – March 10, 2005 (Part 4 of 5)

Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witness: Éric Lafleur

The Commission hears a statement by Doug Mitchell (Counsel for the Liberal Party of Canada) refuting earlier speculation by the Commissioner that Éric Lafleur’s sub-contracting of Jacques Corriveau occurred in lieu of payments owed to Mr. Corriveau by the Liberal Party. Mr. Lafleur continues testimony, with Marie Marmet (on behalf of the Attorney General of Canada) conducting cross-examination. Questions focus on anomalies in invoices remitted to the government by Mr. Lafleur.
