Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witness: Marie Maltais

The Commissioner dismisses an earlier motion seeking in-camera testimony or a publication ban on the testimony of Charles Guité. The Commission continues to hear testimony from Marie Maltais (former Director of Client Services, Advertising and Public Opinion Research branch (APORS) and former Director General of Strategic Communications Coordination at the Communication Coordination Services Branch (CCSB)). Under examination by Associate Commission Counsel Guy Cournoyer, Ms. Maltais recalls disorganization within the CCSB and speaks about her work on the Attractions Canada project.
