Commission Counsel Bernard Roy begins direct examination of Jean Carle (the former director of operations in the Prime Minister’s Office under Jean Chrétien and former Senior Vice-President, Corporate Affairs, Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)). Mr. Carle is asked about correspondence with Warren Kinsella and about meetings with Charles Guité and Jean Pelletier, during which he made suggestions concerning events for sponsorship.
