Commission Counsel Marie Cossette concludes direct examination of John Hayter (owner of the Vickers & Benson agency). Questions focus on government sponsorship of a television series developed by Vickers & Benson for broadcast in China. There are brief cross-examinations by Richard Dearden (Counsel for the Office of the Auditor General), Doug Mitchell (Counsel for the Liberal Party of Canada), and Sylvain Lussier (on behalf of the Attorney General of Canada).
