Witness: Charles Guité

Commission Counsel Bernard Roy continues direct examination of Charles (Chuck) Guité (former Director General of the Advertising and Public Opinion Research Sector (APORS) and Executive Director of the Communication Coordination Services Branch (CCSB) at Public Works and Government Services Canada). Mr. Guité describes the lobbying activities of Luc Lemay, Jean Brault, and other agency executives. He speaks at length about a 1994 decision to award a Tourism Canada advertising contract to both BCP and the Vickers & Benson agency following an intervention by Jean Pelletier.
