Inquiries on CPAC - The Gomery Inquiry – April 15, 2005 (Part 3 of 5)

Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witness: Jacques Corriveau

The Commission hears a submission by Louis Bélanger (Counsel for Luc Lemay and Malcom Media Inc.) on an earlier motion asking that Mr. Lemay’s financial statements remain confidential despite having been submitted to the Commission as evidence. The Commissioner issues a ruling dismissing the motion. Commission Counsel Bernard Roy continues direct examination of Jacques Corriveau (the owner of Pluri Design Canada). Mr. Corriveau is questioned in detail about allegedly phony invoices submitted to Luc Lemay and Jean Brault for subcontracted work on sponsorships.
