Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Peter Doody (Counsel for Jean Chrétien) presents a motion seeking to limit the input of Commission counsel during the preparation of the Commission’s final report. There are submissions in support of the motion by Guy Pratte (Counsel for Jean Pelletier) and Pierre Fournier (Counsel for Alfonso Gagliano). Brian Saunders (on behalf of the Attorney General of Canada) makes a submission and Raynold Langlois (Special Commission Counsel) makes a submission opposing the motion. The motion is dismissed.
