Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witnesses: Paul Lauzon, Evelyn Marcoux

Commission Counsel Marie Cossette concludes direct examination of Paul Lauzon (a former director in the Communication Coordination Services Branch (CCSB) of the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC)). During cross-examination by Richard Auger (Counsel for Charles Guité), Mr. Lauzon is asked about the roles of Mr. Guité and Alfonso Gagliano in the awarding of contracts. There is a brief cross-examination by Sylvain Lussier (on behalf of the Attorney General of Canada). Ms. Cossette begins direct examination of Evelyn Marcoux (former manager, Department of Public Works and Government Services).
