Jean-François Fortin, the Bloc Québécois Member of Parliament for the riding of Haute-Gaspésie-La Mitis-Matane-Matapédia, takes his job very seriously. He sees his constituency office as the “front line” for helping people.
In order to properly serve his fellow citizens, Mr. Fortin has made accessibility a top priority. However, this is not easy when you serve such a large region, and one which might further expand if revisions of federal electoral boundaries are approved.
Danielle Young and her team followed Jean-Francois Fortin around this vast riding as he met with constituents.
