Maria Mourani

Maria Mourani has been the Bloc Quebecois MP for the riding of Ahuntsic since 2006. She is the first woman of Lebanese and Arab descent to sit as an MP in the House of Commons and has written two books on street gangs. Ms. Mourani serves as the Bloc Quebecois Critic for Justice, Public Safety, the Environment, Transport, Infrastructure, Communities, Official Languages, the Status of Women and Human Rights. This MP works hard for her constituents, and is very focused on Bill C-452, which she introduced to fight human trafficking and sexual exploitation. CPAC spends the day with Maria Mourani.
