Located in in Quebec’s Chaudières-Appalaches region, the riding of Lotbinière-Chutes-de-la-Chaudière is 90% farmland. Jacques Gourde is very familiar with this area as he was born on a dairy farm in this very riding, which he has represented in the House of Commons since 2006. There is no doubt that this farmer-turned-politician is first and foremost a grassroots man committed to improving his constituents’ quality of life.
