Former Liberal cabinet ministers Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott will try their luck as independent candidates in the upcoming fall election, ending speculation that the pair might make the jump to Elizabeth May’s Green Party. But what are their chances of being elected? And how exactly will they do politics differently? Esther Bégin speaks with Geneviève Tellier, professor of political science at the University of Ottawa.
