Podium - Douglas Bland


Douglas Bland (professor in the School of Policy Studies at Queens University) presents a speech at the 23rd annual Conference of Defence Associations Institute (CDAI) seminar, Ottawa, Ont., February 15, 2007.

Mr. Bland focuses on the principles that shape Canada’s national security, defence, and foreign policy interests. The speech proposes that, while the nature of threats to Canada’s national security have evolved, the strategies used to safeguard against these threats have remained unchanged.

After speaking, Mr. Bland answers questions from audience members.
