Podium - Mario Dumont

L'École d'été de l'Institut du Nouveau Monde held its fourth edition of a conference that brought together more than 800 youth from across Quebec and around the world, Montreal, August 22–25, 2007. Among the issues discussed were climate change, reasonable accommodations and the place of youth in the world.

Mario Dumont, leader of the official opposition at the National Assembly of Quebec, addressed the conference on August 24. Mr. Dumont spoke about Quebec’s need to assert itself culturally and economically.
