Held in Ottawa from October 22–24, 2007, Diversity 2007 combined two conferences: the Discrimination Prevention Forum (organized by the Canadian Human Rights Commission) and the Duty to Accommodate Conference (organized by the Canada Public Service Agency).

On October 22nd, Louise Arbour, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, gave a keynote address entitled "National human rights institutions as a catalyst for change.”
