Podium - David Wilkins


David Wilkins, United States Ambassador to Canada, delivers the opening keynote address at an annual conference hosted by the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada, held in Montreal, Que., February 14, 2008. The 2008 conference is entitled “Are We American? Canadian Culture in North America.”

In his address, Mr. Wilkins discusses Canada–U.S. relations and compares Canada and the United States, including differences and similarities between each country’s governmental structure.
