Podium - John Manley


Former deputy prime minister and finance minister John Manley delivers a speech at a conference held by York University’s Glendon School of Public and International Affairs, Toronto, Ont., April 4, 2008. The conference, entitled “Public Institutions and Canada’s Future,” explores the role of public institutions within Canada and the larger international community.

Mr. Manley’s speech focuses on his time in the Liberal Party and his work as chair of the Independent Panel of Canada’s Future Role in Afghanistan. After speaking, Mr. Manley answers questions from conference attendees.
