Podium - Jane Dickson-Gilmore


Jane Dickson-Gilmore (associate law professor, Carleton University) gives a speech at the Breakfast on the Hill Lecture Series, Ottawa, Ont., May 14, 2009. Ms. Dickson-Gilmore discusses the restoration of relationships of social equality between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Canadians and the challenges that face the truth and reconciliation justice process. After speaking, Ms. Dickson-Gilmore fields questions from audience members.

Organized by the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences and held six times a year, the Breakfast on the Hill Lecture Series brings together parliamentarians, government officials, the media and the general public to hear important research on pertinent issues.
