This conference, held in Montreal from March 25–26, 2010, was organized by the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada. This event sought to address increasing concerns about the state of Canada's water and to encourage a strategy for managing Canadian water resources. On March 26th, Environment Minister Jim Prentice delivered a keynote address that examined the federal government's role in protecting Canada's water supply.
