Podium - Dr. Alex Barron


On January 19th, 2011, the Sandbox Project held their inaugural annual conference in Mississauga, Ontario. This event brought together key players to address health issues facing Canadian children and youth, with a special focus in the areas of injury prevention, mental health, healthy weights and the environment. Dr. Alex Barron, Paediatric Emergency Physician (the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto), examined how the health of children and youth in Canada compares to other countries.
