On February 24th and 25th, the CDA Institute and the Conference of Defence Associations held the 2011 Ottawa Conference on Defence and Security. To open day 2 of the conference, Defence Minister Peter MacKay outlined the current and future role of the Canadian Forces including the governments purchase of 65 stealth fighter aircraft and the mission in Afghanistan.
