People power or military manoeuvres: Has the Arab Spring turned into a winter of discontent?

On November 10th, BBC journalist Lyse Doucet addressed the Empire Club of Canada in Toronto. In her speech, Ms. Doucet discussed her experiences covering the uprising in the Middle East and North Africa, known as the "Arab Spring." Doucet first joined the BBC as a correspondent in Ivory Coast in 1983. She has reported from numerous regions of the world, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran and the Middle East.
