Podium - Jean Charest


On March 5th, Quebec Premier Jean Charest addressed a joint meeting of the Canadian Club of Toronto and the Club Canadien de Toronto. Charest's speech focused on the current state and the future of Quebec's economy. Jean Charest served in the House of Commons as MP for Sherbrooke (Que.) from 1984 to 1997 before resigning to pursue a career in provincial politics. Charest became Premier of Quebec in 2003.
