Caring for an Aging Population On April 26, 2012, Janice Keefe (Canada Research Chair in Aging and Caregiving Policy, Mount Saint Vincent University) delivered an address as part of the Big Thinking lecture series held on Parliament Hill. In her lecture, entitled "Who cares? Aging boomers and caregiving policy in Canada," Keefe examined the challenges facing an aging population and caregiving policy in Canada. The Big Thinking Lecture Series, held up to six times a year on Parliament Hill, is organized by the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences. The series aims to bring research and scholarly work in the social sciences to the direct attention of elected officials, policy makers, government officials, NGOs and the media.
