At an event in Burnaby, B.C., NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh announces that he will run in a by-election in the federal riding of Burnaby South. Singh, who won the NDP leadership in October 2017, does not currently have a seat in Parliament. Burnaby South is being vacated by NDP MP Kennedy Stewart, who is running to become mayor of Vancouver.
