A panel of speakers discuss Canada–United States security relations at the 23rd annual Conference of Defence Associations Institute (CDAI) seminar, Ottawa, Ont., February 15, 2007.

Alexander Moens (professor of political science at Simon Fraser University) speaks about the past, present and future of North American security interests. Rob Huebert (professor of political science at the University of Calgary) focuses on Arctic security issues.

Stéphane Roussel (Canada research chair in foreign and defence policy at the Université du Québec à Montréal) reviews key North American security concerns. Lieutenant-General Eric Findley (deputy commander of the North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) stresses the importance of collaborative security measures between Canada and the U.S.

After speaking, panellists field questions from audience members. Former chief of defence staff John de Chastelain makes opening remarks and moderates.
