Annual forum highlighting Canadian agriculture issues, Yorkton, Sask., March 23, 2007.

Chuck Strahl (Agriculture Minister and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board) delivers a speech outlining agriculture funding initiatives in the 2007 federal budget, including the development of bio-fuel technology. Mr. Strahl also speaks about market choice within the Canadian Wheat Board and policy consultations being conducted by the Agri-Food Policy Institute.

After speaking, minister Strahl fields questions from audience members. Garry Breitkreuz (Conservative MP for Yorkton–Melville, Sask.) makes opening remarks and moderates questions.
