Lorne Hepworth (president of CropLife Canada) presents conclusions from a report released by CropLife Canada, entitled “Innovation and Partnership in the Bioeconomy.” The report outlines CropLife’s vision for agriculture, farm policy, and plant science innovation in Canada.

Gordon Bacon (CEO of Pulse Canada) discusses recommendations from the “Own-Use Import Task Force Report” released by Health Canada in June 2006. The report addresses market competition issues between Canada and the United States, focusing on the price of herbicides and access to new agricultural technologies.

After speaking, Mr. Hepworth and Mr. Bacon field questions from audience members.
