Public Record - Order of Canada Investiture Ceremony – October 2007


Order of Canada investiture ceremony at Rideau Hall, Ottawa, Ont., October 26, 2007. The ceremony honours distinguished Canadians for their outstanding achievements and service to the country.

Governor General Michaëlle Jean makes opening remarks and appoints 40 Canadians to the Order. Awarded for the first time in 1967, this ceremony is the 100th investiture of the Order of Canada.
