Atlantic Treaty Association 53rd General Assembly : Priorities in Building Security in Afghanistan



On Oct. 31 and Nov. 1st the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) held the 53rd General Assembly in Ottawa . The opening panel on Nov. 1st featured Senior Policy Advisor, NATO Policy and Planning, Office of the Secretary General, Jonathan Parish, and Francesc Vendrell, EU Special Representative for Afghanistan. The two panelists discussed the priorities in building security in Afghanistan and NATO, UN, EU roles and cooperation in Afghanistan as well as other operations.
