Public Record - Ashbury College Foundation Presents: Let’s Debate It!

The Ashbury College Foundation presents the “Let's Debate It!” forum, Ottawa, Ont., November 14, 2007.

In this forum session, speakers debate the following proposition: “a healthy environment takes precedence over a healthy economy.”

Dale Marshall (policy analyst at the David Suzuki Foundation) and Jonathan Westeinde (managing partner of Windmill Developments) speak in favour of a healthy environment. Thomas d’Aquino (president of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives) and Deirdre McMurdy (Ottawa Citizen journalist) speak in favour of a healthy economy. Former deputy Prime Minister John Manley moderates.
