Public Record - Forum on Canadian Democracy

Library and Archives Canada holds its first forum on Canadian Democracy at the University of Ottawa, November 29, 2007.

This session features a roundtable discussion entitled “Legacies and Legends: Prime Ministers and their Memoirs,” featuring Jeffrey Simpson (national affairs columnist for the Globe and Mail), Manon Cornellier (political columnist for Le Devoir), and Patrice Roy (a journalist with Radio-Canada). The panellists discuss the recent political memoirs of former prime ministers Brian Mulroney and Jean Chrétien. CPAC’s Catherine Clark moderates. After speaking, panellists respond to questions from audience members.
