Public Record - 53rd General Assembly of the Atlantic Treaty Association (Part 4 of 5)


The Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) hosts its 53rd General Assembly, Ottawa, Ont., October 31–November 3, 2007. The theme of this year’s general assembly is “NATO and Global Partners: a comprehensive approach to rebuilding Afghanistan and other challenges.”

In this November 1st session, panellists discuss lessons to be learned from operations underway in Afghanistan and surrounding regions. The panellists are Klaus Naumann (vice-president of the German Atlantic Committee) and Sean Maloney (professor at the Royal Military College of Canada). After speaking, panellists field questions from audience members.
