Public Record - New Brunswick Speech from the Throne


On November 27, 2007, in Fredericton, Herménégilde Chiasson (New Brunswick's 29th Lieutenant Governor) opened of the second session of the 56th Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick by delivering the Speech from the Throne on behalf of Premier Shawn Graham's Liberal government. Among the initiatives included in the speech are a balanced budget, a new provincial health plan, strengthened environmental regulations for drinking water and a long-term plan for early learning and child care.
