Public Institutions & Canada’s Future
York University’s Glendon School of Public and International Affairs hosts a conference entitled “Public Institutions and Canada’s Future,” Toronto, Ont., April 3–4, 2008. The conference explores the role of public institutions within Canada and the larger international community. This April 4th session features a panel discussion entitled “A New Canadian Federation?.” The panellists are Chantal Hébert (political columnist for the Toronto Star), Kenneth McRoberts (principal of the Glendon School), André Pratte (editor for La Presse), and Paul Wells (senior columnist at Maclean’s magazine). Official Languages Commissioner Graham Fraser serves as panel chair. After speaking, panellists field questions from conference attendees.
