Public Record - Canadian Immigration Policy Conference – June 4 (Part 1 of 7)


The Fraser Institute holds its second international Canadian Immigration Policy Conference, Montreal, Que., June 4–5, 2008. The conference focuses on reassessing the economic, demographic, and social impact of immigration on Canada.

In the opening panel of the conference on June 4th, James Bissett (former executive director of the Canadian Immigration Service) and Stephen Gallagher (lecturer, McGill University Department of Political Science) outline the current state of the Canadian Immigration Policy.

After speaking, panellists field questions from conference attendees.
