The Fraser Institute holds its second international Canadian Immigration Policy Conference, Montreal, Que., June 4–5, 2008. The conference focuses on reassessing the economic, demographic, and social impact of immigration on Canada.

In the third panel of the conference on June 4th Steven Camarota (director of research, Centre for Immigration Studies) and Herbert Grubel (senior fellow at the Fraser Institute) discuss the cost of immigration in both the United States and Canada.

After speaking, panellists field questions from conference attendees.
