The Fraser Institute holds its second international Canadian Immigration Policy Conference, Montreal, Que., June 4–5, 2008. The conference focuses on reassessing the economic, demographic, and social impact of immigration on Canada.

In the final panel on June 4th, William B.P. Robson (president and CEO at the C.D. Howe Institute) and Marcel Mérette (associate professor of Economics at the University of Ottawa) discuss Canadian immigration policies and an aging population.

After speaking, panellists field questions from conference attendees.
