The Fraser Institute holds its second international Canadian Immigration Policy Conference, Montreal, Que., June 4–5, 2008. The conference focuses on reassessing the economic, demographic, and social impact of immigration on Canada.

In this final session on June 5th, Martin Lemay (immigration and cultural communities critic, Parti Québécois), Catherine Morissette (immigration and cultural communities critic, Action démocratique du Québec), and Yolande James (Minister of Immigration and Cultural Communities, government of Quebec) discuss changes to Canada's immigration system.
