The Public Policy Forum hosts an event entitled "Cranky Parliament 2: Whatcha Gonna Do ’Bout It?,” Ottawa, Ont., June 11, 2008. Participants examine the challenges facing Parliament and ways to make it work more effectively.

This panel discussion is entitled "The Last Great Orator" and focuses on the "showier" aspects of Parliament, such as speeches and Question Period. This panel also discusses how media coverage affects the way Parliament functions.

The panellists are George Baker (Liberal Senator (Newfoundland & Labrador)), Michael Chong (Conservative MP for Wellington–Halton Hills, Ont.), and Michael Ignatieff (Liberal MP for Etobicoke–Lakeshore Ont.)

After speaking, panellists field questions from audience members.
