In the third session of the day, entitled “Freedom in China and Freedom from China,” panellists discuss democratic movements in China. The Canadian Coalition for Democracies (CCD) hosts a symposium entitled “The People’s Republic of China: Foreign Policy Risks and Opportunities,” Ottawa, Ont., June 10, 2008.

The panellists are Jocelyn Durston (international policy analyst, the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada), Shiyu Zhou (Global Internet Freedom Consortium), and Sheng Xue (pro-democracy activist). After speaking, panellists field questions from audience members.
