Public Record - Canadian Coalition for Democracies Symposium (Part 4 of 4)

In the fourth session of the day, Clive Ansley (a lawyer and human rights campaigner) begins by discussing his thoughts on the Chinese legal system. Afterwards, Cindy Gu (the publisher of Epoch Times) speaks about the censorship of Chinese-language media published in Canada. Following this, John Robson (an Ottawa Citizen columnist) addresses some of the moral issues involved in Canada–China relations. After speaking, panellists field questions from conference attendees.

The Canadian Coalition for Democracies (CCD) hosts a symposium entitled "The People’s Republic of China: Foreign Policy Risks and Opportunities," Ottawa, Ont., June 10, 2008.
