Public Record - Canadian International Council Foreign Policy Conference 2008


The Canadian International Council holds their 2008 National Foreign Policy Conference, Toronto, Ont., June 19–20, 2008. The theme of this year’s conference is “After the 2008 United States Presidential Election: Opportunities for Canada?”

In the first panel of June 19th, Don Newman (CBC Television), Pierre Martin (associate professor, Department of Political Science, University of Montreal), and Paul Heinbecker (former Canadian Ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations) discuss the Canadian perspective on a changing United States.

After speaking, panellists field questions from conference attendees.
