Public Record - Cosmopolitan Identity in the Islamic World – June 26, 2008

In the closing conference session on June 26th, panellists propose projects, programs, and strategies that the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) could use to implement ideas explored during the conference. CIGI holds a conference entitled "Cosmopolitan Identity in the Islamic World: Global Citizenship and Social Change," Ottawa, Ont., June 25–26, 2008

Sitting on the panel are David Speedie (a senior fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University), Roger Owen (the director of the Middle East Centre at Harvard University), and Nathan Funk (an assistant professor of peace and conflict studies at the University of Waterloo), among others.

Throughout the session, conference attendees offer their own suggestions and pose questions to the panellists.
