The Canadian Medical Association (CMA) holds its 141st annual meeting, entitled “Canada’s Doctors: Patient focused. Patient centred.,” Montreal, Que., August 17–20, 2008.

The topic of this session on August 18th is “Mind Matters: Mental Health in Canada.” Michael Kirby (Mental Health Commission of Canada), Austin Mardon (Mental Health Advocate), and Dr. Donald Milliken (Canadian Psychiatric Association), among others, present speeches on this topic.

After speaking, panellists field questions from audience members.

Later, delegates vote on motions concerning improvements to Canadian healthcare.
